The coordination team at Something Planned Events pulled together this great urban chic theme which suited this intimate space perfectly. With tons of exposed brick inside and out plus polished cement floors, it was easy to add a little rustic and glam to the room. A farm table was designated for the bride and groom, and banquet tables with rich sangria linens were set up for the guests. Silver chargers and candlesticks worked very well with the gray floor and ceiling. Pretty cut glass stemware and lots of greenery with an abundance of bright red, orange and yellow flower centerpieces made for a stunning display. An pretty palette for spring or fall.
In the courtyard, draping was added for the ceremony area, and LOVE was in the air, in signage and balloons both inside and out. Lush greenery overhangs the far wall, and a large tree provides afternoon shade.
Inside we used the other large side room for cocktails, a lounge, and the buffet. We added some vintage furniture and created a relaxing space for guests to pick up their favor or sit and visit.
Old Sacramento is rich in history and an abundance of places to stage great photos. With easy access from the courtyard to the alley, or up to street level, we had lots to choose from for personals for the bride and groom.
