We see so many white and greenery weddings with floating candles that we decided it needed a little jazzing up. Most venues are going to provide you with white plates, stemware and silver flatware vs. gold, so we went with a silver charger. These can be purchased at our Dollar Tree store and for a small wedding, not a horrible expense and can be reused for future events. I personally have used mine at home to set a pretty table. We DIY’d the flowers here, but your florist can provide you with a much prettier centerpiece in a glass container.
Your venue, this one being Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln, had white linens as a standard option but we decided to add the touch of this pearl encrusted table runner, and some clear glass tealights with LED candles, part of our Curated Collection available on Amazon. Throw a dash of your favorite greens on the table and you’ve got a simple yet elegant look.
Floating candles are still very popular at weddings. The latest LED version of floating candles work extremely well and no worries about getting candles lit and keeping them lit. We’ve often seen flowers added to the water, but decided pearls were the addition they needed. A simple idea, easy and cost-effective way to elevate the look. You can find the ones we used here.
