THE LOVE STORY
HOW DID YOU MEET: We met through internet dating app! We are one of the many success stories I think that people hear of, but the minute we met the sparks were flying!
WHAT ATTRACTED HER TO HIM: I was attracted to him because he had the same values as I had. He is also extremely handsome and has such a warm inviting smile. Our first date lasted two hours, I left there thinking he may be the one!
WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER: Kendra’s picture and bio in the dating app first attracted me. The symmetry of her face along with her smile made for a perfect picture. On our first date, everything about her just feel overwhelmingly right. She even looked prettier than her picture. Our conversation was so natural and it seemed I was talking to someone I have known all my life.
YOUR ENGAGEMENT STORY: Mark was going to wait to ask me on my birthday in October, but he couldn’t contain himself. After dating for only 10 months he asked me on one lazy Sunday afternoon while I was napping on the couch. I had to ask him after I said yes… is this for real? Did you just ask me to marry you?
THE WEDDING
FAVORITE PART OF THE WEDDING: Watching my family members dance for their supper, and dancing the night away with my granddaughters.
MOST UNEXPECTED PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY: How smooth everything went.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY: I don’t think I would do anything differently. Other than not plan during a pandemic.
ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES: Hire vendors that are well recommended! You get what you pay for! Also enjoy the day, it only comes once. Try to soak in every minute. By hiring the right vendors we were able to relax and absolutely enjoy our day worry free.
ADVICE FOR OTHER GROOMS: We met with every service provider — venue, food and beverage, florists, DJ many times over. We used the DJ to be the master of ceremonies and we met and discussed with him every phase of the night. We paid a bit more for his services but he knocked it out of the park!
