PRODUCT: isABelt Ltd… founded in 2007 was the brainchild of partner and inventor Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio. Leslie came up with the idea of the isABelt while shopping for a pair of new low-rise jeans. As cute as the pants were, they would not stay up and you could see right down the back of her pants if she bent over or sat down. She found that she was wearing a belt even when she didn’t want to or her outfit didn’t call for a belt. Leslie saw that her friends all had the same problems and the isABelt was born.
isABelt is the Original invisible belt, the MUST HAVE Fashion “fix-it” accessory. A thin, strong and flexible clear plastic belt, that virtually disappears when worn, providing you with the assurance that all is secure without even knowing it’s there. isABelt prevents back gap, slippage and of course, belt bulk and belt bulge.
OUR REACTION: After multiple attempts to ask us to review, I finally relented. Being a wedding site, I didn’t really feel like this product was a good fit, but brides do travel and go on honeymoons so there you have it. Since the original is the clear version, that is the one I will give away. I opted to keep the black fabric version for myself to try out. The black has got elastic in it vs. the clear. 2 adjusters on each end for sizing. The clasp is magnetic and takes a good twist and pull to get it open. I got out my biggest jeans that always droop and sag and put it on. I don’t know that it is very slimming on my body but it is comfortable and easy to adjust. I don’t normally wear belts since I’ve been lucky enough to find pants that fit my body, but a couple of pairs do stretch and sag after I’ve been wearing them a while. The belt is also TSA friendly.
