HOW DID YOU MEET? Joe worked security at a local bar that I would frequent with my best friend pretty often. We started chatting as friends, then it became so much more.
WHAT ATTRACTED HER TO HIM? The first thing anyone notices about joe is his height (6’5″). That was definitely what caught my eye at first. Then upon getting to know him better he was just very charming and down to earth. He just had the way to make me feel like he genuinely cared.
WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER? I first met Tiffany in the bar that I was working security at. I thought she was a beautiful women and noticed how she carried herself. She also didn’t have a bunch of guys hanging around, like most women at a bar. It took me a few times of seeing her to get the nerve to talk to her.
YOUR PROPOSAL STORY: Joe had planned on purposing to me at a Giants vs A’s baseball game, with a few of our friends there. I’m a Giants fan and he’s and A’s fan. Needless to say, COVID struck and the game was cancelled. We had a trip to Fort Bragg planned the following week, in which he though he would do it there. To our surprise the Fort Bragg area decided on a travel ban and also cancelled our trip. With all the travel restrictions and places closing down, we got a group of our friends together to go out on a little drive and hike. We ended up stopping at Sugar Pine reservoir dam, which was still covered in snow. It was there that he decided to propose, in the snow, overlooking the lake.
TELL US YOUR COVID WEDDING PLANNING EXPERIENCE: I think the biggest challenge has been just the not knowing. At any time things could shut back down and make it hard to do any planning. For that reason and the fact that we have 3 other friends getting married around the same time, we decided to push out to June 2022. We figured it gives us enough time to get everything in place.
