WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER?
Alyssa is athletic, smart, and strong minded.
YOUR PROPOSAL STORY:
We originally planned to go to Hawaii, but due to Covid we canceled the trip and changed our plans last minute to go to Montana. I (Alyssa) knew the engagement would probably come soon because we had been dating for about 3 years and we had been talking about taking our relationship to the next step. With us changing our vacation plans so suddenly, I thought there was no way it was going to happen on that trip.
We went to Triple Creek Ranch in Montana. We went horseback riding, wine tasting, did archery, and had amazing 5 star dinners every night. Bret completely surprised me and asked me to marry him at our cabin.
THE WEDDING
FAVORITE PART OF THE WEDDING: We loved the tables coming up to the sweet heart table dancing for us to earn their meal! It allowed us to say hi to everyone and eat our food (dinner and a show)!
MOST UNEXPECTED PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY: I totally forgot about the selfie moment that I planned during the ceremony to keep people from using their electronics for the remainder of the ceremony. I was mid cry (happy tears) once I finally made it up to Bret and then people started running up taking selfies with us. It was a pleasant surprise though and made us laugh and stopped me from crying momentarily.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, WOULD YOU DIFFERENTLY? Nothing. We had such a great time.
YOUR ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES-TO-BE: Allow yourself to be anxious, excited, nervous, emotional etc. they are all feelings you won’t forget.
ADVICE FROM THE GROOM: Don’t stress yourself out trying to make everything so perfect. If your happy and in a positive mood, everything will go pretty much as perfect as you wanted it to be.
