THE LOVE STORY
HOW DID YOU MEET? We met with the magic of the internet on Tinder. We exchanged messages for a couple of days before we met up for our first date!
WHAT ATTRACTED HER TO HIM? I was attracted to his smile, his quirkiness and love for his family right off the bat. He was hilarious and his weird/nerdy side fit perfectly with mine. (And he had a cute dog to boot!)
WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER? I was attracted to her goofy and weird personality and her cute face. She was one of the funniest people I have ever met.
YOUR PROPOSAL STORY It was a quiet day at home after going to one of our friends’ birthday parties and while sitting on the couch, talking about our futures, Connor popped the question! He was going to wait for our trip to Hawaii the next week, but he explained that he was too excited and couldn’t keep the “secret” from me any longer. We got a ring that day and the rest is history!
THE WEDDING
FAVORITE PART OF THE WEDDING: Seeing all of our family and friends on such a special day was so special. The fact that people told us afterwards that it was one of the most fun weddings they have been too was the icing on the cake.
MOST UNEXPECTED PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY: The groomsmen were introduced to the reception hall with the wrong song playing. It was supposed to be an intense orchestral song but instead was an angelic choral song. It was more funny than anything!
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, WOULD YOU DIFFERENTLY? Nothing! Everything went to plan and the small things that went wrong just added flavor and excitement to the day.
ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES: Enjoy the day and don’t stress once the day is there! You can’t change anything that is or has already happened so just soak in all the love and joy on your special day.
ADVICE FOR OTHER GROOMS: Don’t take things too seriously and only invite people who are significant in your lives (your cousins cousin isn’t going to care if they aren’t invited). Also, be true to yourself and make your own traditions!
