WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER? Her sense of humor, hard-working, caring, and beautiful smile.
YOUR ENGAGEMENT STORY: Went for a quick trip to Hawaii right before the pandemic started and went on a sunset walk before dinner and proposed by the ocean.
THE WEDDING
FAVORITE PART OF THE WEDDING: The speeches and listening to our friends and family tell their most memorable moments about us.
MOST UNEXPECTED PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY: How it still felt like a full wedding even though we were unable to have dancing and dinner for our guests. It came out perfectly.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, WOULD YOU DIFFERENTLY? Originally I would have said being able to serve dinner and have dancing for our guests but in the end it turned out perfectly and we would not have changed anything about it.
YOUR ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES-TO-BE: As cliche as it sounds, it does not need to be perfect, because even the things that do go wrong or may not turn out how you wanted still make a difference in a great way and sometimes those are the best memories you will have.
ADVICE FROM THE GROOM: Try to help the bride as much as possible when planning the wedding as there are many details that the groom may not realize need to be sorted out and the bride could use help with.
THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING: Fun, loving, and joyous.
HONEYMOON DESTINATION: Hawaii – Kona and Maui
