THE LOVE STORY
HOW DID YOU MEET: We first met our freshmen year of high school where Tristin was attending Jesuit and I was attending St. Francis. Tristin was seeking a date to the upcoming Jesuit Homecoming Dance so a mutual friend introduced us. When we first met, the chemistry was instant between us and could not be denied. At that moment, Tristin just knew that he had to ask me to be his date at the Homecoming dance, and of course I said YES! A few weeks later, the Jesuit Homecoming dance was finally here! We danced and laughed the whole night away. Finally, the last slow dance of the night came on and this is when we shared our first, but certainly not last, kiss. This was the beginning of our love story.
WHAT ATTRACTED HER TO HIM: I was first attracted to Tristin because he always knew how to make me laugh and put a smile on my face no matter what. Since the day I met him, he has always made me feel special, beautiful, and loved.
WHAT ATTRACTED HIM TO HER: I was first attracted to Addison when I saw her beautiful smile that could light up a room. She carried herself well and she walked with class and grace. I knew from the first time I met her that she would make me the happiest man in the world.
YOUR PROPOSAL STORY:
After graduating from high school, we traveled across country to Philadelphia to attend college. Fast forward four years, the day finally came when we were now graduating from college. During the morning, we attended graduation ceremonies from Villanova and St. Joseph’s University with all of our family in attendance. However, only hours later, while taking graduation photos at the Philadelphia Art Museum (aka The Rocky Steps), Tristin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and of course I said YES! But this time, the “Yes” wasn’t just for Homecoming, but for the rest of our lives.
THE WEDDING
FAVORITE PART OF THE WEDDING: Definitely our first dance was our favorite part of the wedding! It really allowed us to take time to slow down and be in the moment with just the two of us.
MOST UNEXPECTED PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY: When I walked down the aisle and saw my husband-to-be crying tears of joy as soon as he saw me! It melted my heart and really made the moment so special!
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY: Nothing. The day was perfect!
ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES: My advice for other brides-to-be would be to enjoy the wedding process and take time to slow down and really be in the moment. The wedding day will go by in a blink of an eye!
ADVICE FOR OTHER GROOMS: Take a breath during the wedding and soak in the moment. The wedding will go by faster than you expect.
